Annoyingly, there’s quite a big queue but you just pray it moves fast.

You queue for 12 minutes and 30 seconds. (-12:30 = 14 minutes 30 seconds left)

When finally at the desk, you spend a minute counting out your remaining budget of £335. You won’t be needing pounds anymore now that you’ve left the UK. (-01:00 = 13 minutes 30 seconds left)

The cashier spends 2 minutes sifting through the notes (no wonder the queue is moving so slowly) before handing over €374. (-02:00 = 11 minutes 30 seconds left)

You spend 30 seconds putting your money away. (-00:30 = 11 minutes left)

Following the instructions given, you want to turn your right onto this road. Do remember that this right is as if you were there in person and you’re heading in the same direction as the arrows pointing up Via Cesare Boldrini.

You then take the first left which takes you onto Via Cairoli.

You keep following that down and you’re looking out for the businesses and shops coming up on your left. You’re looking for the business between ‘Centro Porta Sicura’ and ‘Cerved Credit Management’

Via Cairoli narrows into a smaller road and so if you reach that, you’ve gone too far.

The answer is the type of business, not the business name, so what type of business is ‘Ufficio Postale Poste Italiane’?

And remember, answer in lower case!

Input your answer in digits and don’t worry about writing ‘min’. For example, if the answer was 37 min you would write 37.

Answer: 29

You begin with 28 minutes to go and so you need to deduct all the times mentioned in the passage.

These are:

It takes 35 seconds to exit the bus terminal into Parc de Bercy – 00:35

You spend 6 minutes cutting across the grass passing the Maison du jardinage – 06:00

You wait for 25 seconds at the road before crossing – 00:25

And walk for 1 minute until you arrive at Bred-Banque Populaire – 01:00

You queue for 5 minutes and 30 seconds – 05:30

You spend a minute counting out your remaining budget – 01:00

The cashier spends 1 and a half minutes sifting through the notes before handing over €266 – 01:30

Total time spent = 16 mins

Now, deduct 16 minutes from the 28 minutes you began with.
